Every day, families come to St. Louis Children’s looking for answers they can’t find anywhere else. The St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation exists to support these patients through necessary programs and personalized services that would not exist without the funding we receive from generous donors like you.
Thanks to operational support from BJC HealthCare and our partnership with the Washington University School of Medicine (WUSM) Department of Pediatrics, those who donate to the Foundation are able to invest their money where it matters most: advancing breakthrough research, community outreach and world-class medical care only St. Louis Children’s can provide.

Since 1879, philanthropy has shaped St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Established by a compassionate group of St. Louis women who were determined to do what’s right for kids, the hospital has held fast to this mission for nearly 150 years.
Over the course of our history, each new era has presented unique opportunities and urgent needs. Each time, philanthropists in St. Louis and beyond have responded with support and generosity. Today, the opportunities and needs facing children and families are unprecedented in their size and scope. Those of us who care deeply about children have before us an incredible opportunity – a chance to set the pace for this era of enormous medial progress, to deliver world-class care throughout our community and care for the whole child for the whole journey.
Only by working together to meet what this moment demands, we will ensure that our children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren will have the opportunity to live long, healthy, productive lives.
