At discharge, your child’s nurse will review instructions for care at home.
The nurse will include information about the symptoms to look for that mean you should give your doctor a call.
Home Care Services
For many children, additional medical treatment is necessary after being in the hospital. Sometimes, that treatment can be provided at home.
In those cases, our Home Care Referral Coordinators can assist you. Our Referral Coordinators work with your physician to develop an individualized plan of care to meet the needs of your child.
They can advise you about the home care benefits offered under your health insurance plan. They also can explain your options for selecting a home care agency.
