Spiritual Care
Chaplains provide spiritual care for our patients, families and staff. Our spiritual care is open to all religious denominations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Social Work
Our social workers help patients and families with discharge planning, referrals to community programs, counseling and crisis intervention.
School Program
The Hospital School Program is available to all school-age children who are in the hospital more than three days. Our goal is to have all school-age patients attending the program daily by their fifth day in the hospital.
Language Services
We offer free interpreter services and translation services for all patients and their families. Interpreters are available 24 hours a day for foreign language and sign language assistance.
If you will need an interpreter during your visit, please notify our scheduling staff when you are making your appointment. Please also tell our staff which language you need.
Guest Information Services
The Guest Services Information Desks provide information on local services (such as lodging, restaurants and attractions) and hospital services. Information desks are located on the hospital's first and second floors.
Child Life Services
Child Life Services works with patients to cope with fear, anxiety, and separation from friends and family while in the hospital. To do this, staff use play, music, art, recreation and education techniques.

Horticultural Therapy
Horticultural therapy engages patients and families in gardening-related activities with a trained horticultural therapist. The goal of horticultural therapy is to offer relief from physical and mental limitations, reduce stress, stimulate memory and inspire hope.
Support Groups
We have a variety of support groups to give families with a sick child or families who are grieving an opportunity to share feelings and practical information.

Patient Benefits Services representatives are available to help you understand medical insurance plans and agency programs. They also can help you with applications to Medicaid, Special Health Care Needs programs and other agencies. Visit our Financial Information page to learn more.
