These investigations have involved clinical research to improve diabetes management and prevent the long-term complications of the disease. Today, several studies related to both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes prevention and treatment are in progress. Many patients in the diabetes program are frequently given the opportunity to participate in these types of studies.
