Recognize team members through BJC Shines:

In appreciation

• Describe a job well done, thanking a co-worker or team member for their work/contributions. Examples: Inclement weather situations; picking up an extra shift; leading a presentation; just being a great co-worker and/or making work fun.

Living Our BJC Values

• Part of BJC HealthCare’s culture is recognizing when we see our values of Compassion, Respect, Excellence, Safety and Teamwork in action.
• Highlight the action and how the team member lived Our BJC Values.

Nominate team members for SLCH Employee of the Month through BJC Shines:

• To recognize someone for consistent use of Our BJC Values and the impact it makes on our patients, families and your co-workers on a regular basis.
• Living Our BJC Values or going “above and beyond” in a specific situation that made a large impact on our patients, families and your co-workers.
