St. Louis Children’s Hospital Art Therapy sponsors Garden Art activities 6 times throughout the year. Local artists lead these activities which are meant to inspire the children to create their own original art. Artists will demonstrate/teach a technique to the children or may provide a variety of materials and explain to the children how to create their own art work. The Horticulture Department at St. Louis Children's Hospital supports these activities and weather permitting will be held in the garden, so themes typically relate to the seasons or nature.
