Each month, St. Louis Children’s Hospital’s chief residents honor a resident who shows exceptional dedication to his or her patients, colleagues or profession. In December 2015, the SLCH Chief Resident Award was presented to Jasia Mahdi, MD, a first-year pediatric neurology resident. Dr. Mahdi was recognized for her hard work, positive attitude and great teamwork skills throughout her intern year.
The January 2016 award was presented to Leo Shmuylovich, MD, a first-year preliminary pediatric resident. Dr. Shmuylovich was recognized for his consistent hard work as a team player and his dedication to improving processes for patient care throughout his intern year.
