If you would like your patient assessed and treated by the PAWS department at either location, please call Children’s Direct at 800.678.HELP (5437).
The referring provider will be directed to PAWS where staff will obtain information over the phone to screen the needs of the patient. We may be able to see the patient the same day depending on scheduling availability and sedation needs, otherwise the appointment will be made for the following day. During the phone screening, if the child is determined to not be a PAWS candidate, he/she may be directed to our Emergency Unit for care.
