The multidisciplinary Skeletal Dysplasia and Bone Health Clinic at St. Louis Children’s Hospital is a medical home for children with genetic skeletal disorders. Although each syndrome itself is rare, there are more than 400 known genetic skeletal disorders.
We treat patients with skeletal dysplasia from birth, through adolescence and into adulthood.
Why Choose Skeletal Dysplasia Services?
Because of the syndrome’s complicated medical concerns, children with skeletal dysplasia require ongoing, coordinated management by specialists in the field. Our team includes geneticists, orthopedic surgeons and neurosurgeons — all of whom are experts at treating the variety of symptoms and manifestations of skeletal dysplasia.
